KOTA KINABALU: Sabah welcomed international beauty titleholder The Miss Globe 2025, Chayathanus Saradatta, as part of the HyperLive Influencer Tour in Sabah 2026, held from 11 to 13 February. Her visit aims to highlight Sabah as a premier tourism destination, celebrated for its rich culture, scenic landscapes, and warm hospitality.
Arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) on 11 February, Chayathanus embarked on a three-day programme designed to showcase Sabah’s heritage, communities, and natural beauty to a global audience through authentic storytelling and social media engagement.
Experiencing Sabah Firsthand
Chayathanus’ itinerary included visits to iconic landmarks such as the Todak Waterfront, Atkinson Clock Tower, University Malaysia Sabah Mosque, and Yayasan Sabah, offering insight into Sabah’s history and architectural beauty. She also sampled local cuisine at Kedai Kopi Jia Siang, immersing herself in the state’s culinary culture.
A highlight of her visit was a charity outreach to families of individuals with disabilities, spreading festive cheer during the Chinese New Year season. The experience was complemented by wearing the traditional Baju Tradisi, a sunset cruise along Sabah’s coastline, and a cultural dinner at Kampung Nelayan, featuring local performances.
On the final day, Chayathanus enjoyed lunch at Borenos Fried Chicken, paid a courtesy call to the Sabah Tourism Board, and took part in an ATV adventure. Her visit concluded with dinner at KKIA Sup Ikan and a firefly tour, creating lasting memories before her departure.
Promoting Sabah to the World
Through photography, videos, and social media updates, Chayathanus shared Sabah’s vibrant culture, breathtaking scenery, and community spirit with her international followers.
