KUALA LUMPUR:  Gravity’s Malaysia-based subsidiary, Gravity Game Unite (GGU), is ramping up efforts to engage players ahead of the official launch of its new PC MMORPG, Ragnarok Zero: Global, scheduled for August 18, 2026.

Prior to the launch, GGU has actively communicated with the gaming community through various initiatives. The company conducted two Open Beta Tests (OBTs) across Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania. The first OBT received positive feedback for its level progression system and localisation quality, while the second introduced the connected game Get Poring, RO Factory — the first User Generated Content feature within the Ragnarok universe — and new MVP Raid content.

GGU also successfully hosted player meetups in Germany and Thailand. These events were attended by Gravity Co-CEO Yoshinori Kitamura, GGU President Harry Choi, and Ragnarok Zero: Global Executive Producer Yong Nam Kim. During these gatherings, the team shared their vision and commitment to serving players throughout Europe and Asia.

Local players, influencers, and media representatives were introduced to new features and content, alongside a detailed roadmap for the game’s development.

Based on the classic Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Zero: Global modernises its systems to provide a more convenient and accessible gameplay experience. Exclusive episodes expand the world of Midgard, while improvements such as a revamped user interface and user experience, auto-combat functionality, and optimised travel routes ensure a smoother experience. The game supports eight languages, including Thai, English, German, French, and Spanish.

Ragnarok Zero: Global will officially launch worldwide on August 18, 2026. With the launch imminent, players across Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania will soon be able to embark on new adventures in Midgard.-pr/BNN
