KOTA KINABALU: Head of State Tun Musa Aman and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor joined thousands of Sabahans in the colourful Sabah Day celebrations at Dataran Bandaraya here tonight.
It kicked off with the proclamation speech by the Head of State followed by the flag hoisting ceremony and a variety of performances.
Among the performances included a laser light show, choir singing by the Male-Efficient group, various local artists, special montage and performance of the Sabah Tanah Airku song.
A procession with Sabah Day motive was also held.
The Head of State was accompanied by his wife Toh Puan Faridah Tussin while Hajiji was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Panglima Datuk Juliah Salag.
Also present were Deputy Chief Minister II Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun who is also the Main Organising Committee chairman, State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman, state Cabinet ministers and elected representatives.-pr/BNN
