KOTA KINABALU: The best gown for the Harvest Festival Beauty Pageant’s Best designed Evening Wear Ethnic Concept went to designer, Marcel Gatisi.
During a parade last night to show off the evening wear, his gown modeled by the DBKK beauty queen,Kerinah Mah.
The colourful design, a black evening wear with gold and read trimmings wowed the judges and will grace a gallery to be established at the Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) building.
Two other titles were given out that night, with “Tati Tosuau’ (Miss Friendly) going to Penampang and ‘Tati Topiodo’ (Miss Demure) going to Klang Valley’s participant Sharlina Gilbert Mojinun.
Seven participants had been short listed to showcase the gowns for the night.
The event was graced by the Kadazandusun paramount leader, Huguan Siou Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and his wife Puan Sri Genevieve.-CE/BNN
