PUTRAJAYA: Munchy’s Malaysia is commemorating its 35th anniversary with a donation of RM500,000 worth of in-kind products to support the National Day and Malaysia Day 2026 celebrations. This generous contribution marks the brand’s third consecutive year of support and is its largest to date, demonstrating Munchy’s ongoing dedication to promoting unity, national pride, and shared moments of celebration among Malaysians.
The donation was officially handed over to the Minister of Communications, Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil, during a ceremony organised by the Ministry of Communications at Menara Komunikasi, Precinct 4, Putrajaya.
Rodney Wong, Chief Executive Officer of Munchy’s Malaysia, stated that the increased contribution reflects the company’s commitment to playing a meaningful role in occasions of national significance.
“For thirty-five years, Munchy’s has grown alongside Malaysia and become a part of the daily lives of Malaysians across generations and backgrounds. National Day and Malaysia Day provide us with the perfect opportunity to celebrate this shared journey and to give back to the country and people who have supported us throughout the years,” Wong said.
“As we mark our third consecutive year supporting these celebrations, we are proud to make our largest contribution yet. We hope our products will add to the joy of the occasion and create memorable moments for Malaysians participating in the festivities nationwide,” he added.
The products will be distributed through selected programmes and activities organised in conjunction with the National Day and Malaysia Day 2026 celebrations, allowing participants, members of the public, and communities across the country to partake in the festivities.
Munchy’s Malaysia first supported the national celebrations in 2024 and has progressively deepened its involvement each year. The latest contribution underscores the company’s long-term commitment to supporting initiatives that unite Malaysians and strengthen community bonds.
