KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals Association (SWEPA) has held an AI Video Marketing Masterclass as part of its AI Business Transformation Course at the Grandis Hotel, recently.
Opening the programme, SWEPA president Betty Bridget Epin thanked the Sabah Department of Women’s Affairs (JHEWA) for its support and event grant, which enabled the association to deliver the course.
She said the partnership would help develop more women entrepreneurs who are competitive, knowledgeable and confident in using digital technology.
Betty noted that video marketing had become an increasingly important way for businesses to reach customers, while producing high-quality content could require significant time, effort and expense.
The masterclass was designed to show participants how artificial intelligence (AI) could help them create engaging video content more quickly, reduce operating and marketing costs, and expand their market reach.
SWEPA remained committed to supporting women entrepreneurs and professionals in Sabah, she said, adding that AI should be seen not as something to fear but as a tool to improve business efficiency and competitiveness.
Betty thanked the course trainer for sharing their expertise and congratulated organising committee chair Datin Medlina Lubiren and the SWEPA organising committee for delivering the programme.
She encouraged participants to take an active role, ask questions and put their learning into practice.-BNN
