MAKKAH: Following his official engagement with Sabah students in Egypt and the officiation of the Al-Imam Al-Tayeb Sheikhul Azhar Hall, Tuan Yang Terutama, Tun Datuk Seri Panglima (Dr.) Musa Haji Aman, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, proceeded to Madinah and Makkah to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.
While in Madinah, Tun also took the opportunity to meet with Sabah students who are currently pursuing their studies there. He subsequently continued his journey to Makkah.
Upon arrival in Makkah, Tun and his wife, Toh Puan Faridah, were warmly received by the Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dato’ Mohamad Syed Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman (left of TYT), and his wife.
The Ambassador and his wife also joined Tun and his delegation in performing the Umrah pilgrimage. Also present was Hassan Ibrahim Abdullah, Communications Officer, Consulate General of Malaysia, Jeddah (3rd from right). -pr/BNN
