SANDAKAN: A total of 40 participants visited and cared for 42 elderly residents at Rumah Warga Tua Sri Harapan Sandakan here on Saturday.
The activity was organised as part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme hosted by Nana Puteri Beauty & Wellness Sandakan in collaboration with Kolej Vokasional Sandakan 2.
The programme was officially launched by the college director, Christine Stanislaus Kinsik.
During the event, beyond offering companionship to the residents, the participants also provided free hair washing, basic personal care, and nail hygiene services.
According to Nana Puteri Beauty & Wellness owner, Masna Osman, the CSR aims to inspire and expose students to community activities, as well as to attract interest from students or prospective students to pursue careers in cosmetology.
The organisers expressed gratitude to the college, the elderly home, and all participants for their cooperation in making the CSR a success.-pr/BNN
