KOTA KINABALU: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Anifah Haji Aman, carried out a working visit to Brunei Darussalam on 18 Nov.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II
of Brunei Darussalam, Pehin Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, to discuss issues
pertaining to bilateral cooperation as well as the preparation for the upcoming 21 st
Annual Leaders’ Consultation between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.

The Annual Leaders’ Consultation will involve the Prime Minister of Malaysia and His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam scheduled for 23 November 2017.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister also held an audience with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The visit of the Foreign Minister provide great opportunity for both sides to
explore new initiatives with the aim to increase bilateral trade and further elevate the
already strengthened and special brotherly relations between both countries to a
