KOTA KINABALU: Party Warisan Sabah President Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said there was no inducement for the six Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen who crossed over to join his party.
He said the team from UMNO comprised of Datuk Abdul Muis Picho of Sebatik, Datuk Hamisa Samat of Tanjung Batu, Datuk Osman Jamal of Balung and Jamawi Jaafar of Kemabung joined him of their own free will.
It was the same for the others from United Pasokmmogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO), Ewon Benedict of Kadamaian and Datuk Abidin Madingkir of Paginatan.
On how soon he would be named the Chief Minister of Sabah, he said although he now has the majority to allow him to form a Government, he had to respect the process and the Head of State Tun Juhar’s decision.-BNN
