KOTA KINABALU: The Kuala Lumpur City College will be holding a talk on job opportunities for youth at Stella Maris Secondary School on 7th March this year.
Held by its Education Director Zahara Ismail, the 20 minutes talk will start at 10.30am and hope to instill awareness on the students there about job opportunities after their SPM examinations.
According to her, youth aged 35 years and below are also encouraged to apply for the programme which do not only target school leavers but also those who are in dire need of employment in Sabah.
“We urged youth to take this job opportunity as this can enhance their life and also help in ensuring that they can assist their family in future,” she stressed.
According to her, besides the awareness talk, there are presently various affiliated personnel who can accord those interested to enrol in the college more information on the subject.
Zahara who is also Stella Maris Parents Teachers Head stated that getting a higher education is everyone’s dream but getting employment and earning a good income is the ultimate goal.
She and her team will be visiting more districts in Sabah, including Kudat, Kota Marudu and Kota Belud followed by other districts in Sabah to disseminate information about the college.
