KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor received a farewell call from the United States Ambassador to Malaysia, Edgard D. Kagan, at his office in Menara Kinabalu on Thursday.
At their the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed his appreciation to Kagan for his dedicated service during his tenure in Malaysia, particularly for his role in strengthening bilateral relations and helping to promote Sabah on the international stage.
“I would like to thank His Excellency Edgard for his contributions and the cooperation established during his service in Malaysia, including his support in showcasing Sabah’s uniqueness and potential to the global community,” he said.
Meanwhile, Edgard congratulated Hajiji on his reappointment as Chief Minister of Sabah, describing his leadership as crucial for the state’s continued development and stability.-pr/BNN
