KOTA KINABALU: The Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu Pearl (RCKK Pearl) was honoured to sponsor and witness the successful installation ceremony of the Interact Club of Imperium International Secondary School (IISS) Kota Kinabalu for the 2025–2026 term.
This meaningful event marked a key milestone in empowering youth leadership and community service, guided by Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.”
RCKK Pearl expressed delight at seeing so many enthusiastic young people join the Rotary family.
The students showed remarkable confidence, vibrancy, creativity, and leadership potential, reflecting the strong culture and vision fostered by the school.
Special thanks went to IISS Kota Kinabalu Principal Mr Vasan Varathan for his unwavering support and commitment to youth development and service learning.

The ceremony was attended by RCKK Pearl members, including Youth Service Chair and Past President Majella Tan Marquez; Vice President and Past President Datuk Eliza Goh; Immediate Past President Chendramata Sinteh; President Elect Hanna Ghani Loh; and Rotarians Doris Lim, Ursula U, Erin Diane Komplin, and Fauziah Binti Mohd Noor.
The newly installed Interact Club Board of Directors for 2025–2026 are: President: Omar Redza Bin Ahmad Rizal (Year 8), Vice President: Alaia Inessa Binti Izharuddin (Year 8), Secretary: Din Jia Le Kyle (Year 10) Treasurer: Sophie Harper Stephens (Year 8), Sergeant-at-Arms: Jacob Harper Stephens (Year 10), IU Director: Tamara Nasran Leng (Year 10),Bakat Director: Aleesya Adryana (Year 10), Service Project Director: Neal Isaiah Marcellus G Kissol (Year 10), Membership Director: Juliana Roxane Joseph (Year 7).
