KOTA KINABALU: The BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) members and delegates met with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor to explore trade and tourism opportunities in Sabah at Menara Kinabalu on Friday.
The BEBC delegates were in Kota Kinabalu to hold its Board of Directors meeting in conjunction with the Sabah International Expo 2026 (SIE2026).
Leading the delegation was Datuk Susan Chang, representing BEBC Malaysia, Dr Raymond Alfred (BEBC Malaysia Sabah), Nobel Pang (BEBC Malaysia Sarawak) and Azhar Othman (BEBC Malaysia Labuan).
Together with them were the Indonesian delegation led by Vice Chairman for Multilateral Diplomacy (BIMP-EAGA), Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia), Andi Anzhar Cakra Wijaya, accompanied by Ira Kusumawardani from KADIN Jakarta.
From the Philippines were Vice President-Mindanao (BIMP-EAGA) of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Joji Bian and Elian Macala, from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) representing BEBC Philippines.
BEBC Brunei Darussalam was represented by Pengiran Dr Hj Haris Pg Hj Duraman and Haji Alimen Hj Jaafar.-pr/BNN
