KOTA KINABALU;SAPP welcomes the announcement that Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Noor, the Chairman of Sabah Perikatan Nasional, who will be appointed as our 16th Sabah Chief Minister.
Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji is a well-known leader, experienced in administration and accepted by all communities. He has leadership qualities that the people of Sabah need and to unite the various communities in Sabah.
His good and close rapport with the Prime Minister and other federal leaders will be very helpful in forging a more effective working relationship between the Sabah state and federal governments.
The people of Sabah have just elected a new government through the democratic process and together with the federal government, shall overcome the social and economic challenges in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic.
I trust that under the leadership of Perikatan Nasional, the people of Sabah will see a new hope and a brighter future.-
