PUTRAJAYA: Ensuring successful implementation of all development plans and initiatives oulined in the National and State Budgets was high on the agenda as Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor made his rounds meeting with Federal ministers here.
Key to these discussions was proper coordination to ensure all efforts are in sync for smooth implementation of all plans.
Also on top of the agenda was the five-year Sabah Maju Jaya development blueprint (2021-2025) that emphasised on agriculture, tourism and manufacturing sectors as Sabah’s main economic catalyst.
On Thursday, the Chief Minister met with Federal Finance Minister, Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Dato Sri Hjh Nancy Shukri and Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Datuk Ronald Kiandee.
A day earlier, Hajiji met with Minister of Communications and Multimedia Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) officials.
The top subject discussed with Saifuddin was the National Digital Network (Jendela) that is set to expand 4G coverage and boost Internet speed in Sabah.
Prior to that, Hajiji also met with Senior Minister for International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali. On Monday, Hajiji met with Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyidin Yassin.-pr/BNN
