Sabah BERSATU leaders join in the walk with the PH candidate for Tanjung Piai Parliamentary by-election

KOTA KINABALU:Sabah  Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) Chief, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor and its other leaders have joined other Pakatan Harapan (PH) supreme leadership in accompanying PH candidate, Karmaine Sardini, to the nomination centre for the Tanjung Piai parliamentary by-election at Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim, Pontian, Johor, on Saturday.

The Tanjung Piai parliamentary by-election involves a six-corner fight between candidates from Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN), GERAKAN, Barisan Jemaah Islamiah Se-Malaysia (BERJASA) and two independents.

The by-election was held following the death of its incumbent, Datuk Dr Md Farid Md Rafik, 42, from BERSATU on September 21 due to heart complication.-pr/BNN
