KOTA KINABALU: IFS Technology contributed foodstuff and essentials to various groups as part of their assistance to the community, yesterday.
This was their response to the difficulties faced by the various groups and frontliners caused by the Covid19 pandemic and the subsequent Movement Restrictions Order (MCO) imposed by the Government 14 days ago, expected to end by April 14.
Led by its director Allen Tsang, they presented 50 boxes of essential goods to ‘Sukarelawan Belia’ of an NGO who would distribute the items to the needy.
According to him, the boxes contained canned goods, tissue rolls, rice, diapers and sanitary pads and 3in1 goods.
They also distributed 100 boxes of food to several Old Folks Home, one being the One Home One Care Centre while 100 boxes were also presented to Luyang Hospital for night shift doctors and medical personnel.
“Besides that, we also presented another 200 boxes to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and 50 boxes to St. John Ambulance as well as 50 boxes to the Sabah Society for the Deaf,” he stated.
Allen said this was one of the various charity works his company carried out. They also carried out annual charity contributions to the old Folks Home and the Sabah Society for the Deaf among others.
He said they have been carrying out such events since they started the company.-BNN
