TENOM: Deputy President of Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Datuk Seri Panglima Radin Malleh (pic)said it  is better for the government to send back the illegal immigrants in Sabah to their country of origin rather than replacing their present documents to a special temporary Sabah pass and renewing them once in every three years.

Radin was responding to the statement of the Home Affairs Minister, Tan Sri Muhyidin Yassin.

The lackadaisical way of dealing the illegal immigrants by the government will only prolong the unending problems posed by them in terms of security and economy and other related problems.

“We should distinguish between the foreign workers and the illegal immigrants.

“Since the government had identified and verified the more then 600,000 illegals including the IMM13 refugees, therefore the government should send them back without delay.

“The federal government should be sincere and determined to solve this problem if it loves its subjects in Sabah.

“The move of government to replace the documents would only encourage the illegal immigrants to stay on in Sabah and invite further influx of new ones, stressed Radin.

The government has identified and verified the illegal immigrants couple with the fact that the RCI reports have been delivered to the government, therefore, there is no reason it could not take a positive and effective measures to solve and ultimately end the illegal immigrants problems in Sabah once and for all, added Radin.-pr/BNN
