Ng Boon Leng unanimously elected as Sekong PBS Division Chief

SANDAKAN: Former Elopura Community Development Leader, Ng Boon Leng, received unanimous support to hold the position of Sekong PBS Division Chief.

The election took place during the 41st Annual General Meeting of the Sabah United Party (PBS) for the divisions of Women and Youth, on 21 June, at the Sandakan Community Hall Meeting Room.

The opening of the meeting was officiated by the Central Women EXCO, Sariah Duling, while the Youth division meeting was officiated by the Central Youth Deputy Chief, Mohd Rizuan Mohd Damit.

In line with Ng’s appointment, a new division committee was also formed, including Mohd Ismail Sapari (Deputy Division Chief), Mohd Faisal (Secretary), Kasmah Kambar (Women’s Chief), and Risman Lukman (Youth Chief).

In his inaugural speech, Ng expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the trust and support given to him to lead the Sekong Division.

“I promise to carry out this entrusted responsibility with full integrity and to always be proactive in seeking solutions to issues raised by the grassroots,” he said.

Ng concluded his speech by taking the opportunity to urge all party members of the Sekong Division to continue supporting the leadership of the party President, Datuk Seri Panglima Joachim Gunsalam.-BNN
