KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor received a courtesy call from the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, at the Danum Room in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Building here on Tuesday.
During the courtesy call, the Chief Minister also expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) for its concern through its agency, the National Welfare Foundation (YKN), in contributing RM200,000 to assist fire victims in Kampung Bahagia, Sandakan.
“On behalf of the State Government, I would like to thank KPWKM for its concern in extending assistance to help the fire victims in Sandakan,” he said.
Also present were Sabah Minister of Women, Health and People’s Wellbeing, Datuk Julita Majungki; State Secretary, Datuk Seri Panglima Safar Untong; Secretary of Home Affairs and Research, Datuk Ag Shaminan Ag Sahari; Sandakan Municipal Council President, Datuk Walter Kenson; and Chief Executive Officer of the National Welfare Foundation, Nordina Haron.-pr/BNN
